Not every surveillance job can be solved by placing one investigator outside an address for a day. Theft may happen at unpredictable times, a large site may have several access points, or a person may move between vehicles and public transport. In these cases, we may recommend a team, a temporary camera, suitable GPS support, a drone or a carefully planned combination.

A fixed camera can watch one known area for repeated incidents. A surveillance team can follow activity between locations. A drone can provide an overview of a large site but cannot be used everywhere. GPS information may help show the movement of an authorised vehicle, but it does not show who was driving or what happened at a location.
Before recommending equipment, we look at the question, site, access, timing, privacy and likely movement. The most technical option is not always the best one.
Busy London streets, public transport, several exits, rural roads and a person who is alert to surveillance can make one-investigator coverage unreliable. A larger team can hand over observations and reduce the risk of losing the person or being noticed. We explain why the team is needed and what it will cost before deployment.
A temporary camera may help where theft, damage or another incident keeps happening at the same point. The client must have proper authority over the location. Before installation, we agree where the camera can be placed, what it will cover, how long it will remain, who can view the recordings and how relevant incidents will be reported.
Cameras are not installed in bedrooms, bathrooms or other highly private areas. Workplace monitoring needs exceptional reasons and advice from the organisation’s legal, HR and data-protection teams.
GPS tracking is not available for any person or vehicle simply because a client requests it. We first check who owns or controls the vehicle, why tracking is needed, how long it would last and whether it is legal and reasonable in the circumstances.
Location information often needs to be supported by physical surveillance. A map can show where a vehicle travelled, but not who was driving, who was met or what took place.
A drone can help document large areas of land, infrastructure, damage, fly-tipping, site access or the position of assets. It cannot be used to look into homes, gardens or other private spaces. Flights depend on airspace, weather, people nearby, landowner permission and the location itself.
Drone work is carried out only through operators with the registrations, training, permissions and insurance required for the planned flight. If a flight cannot be carried out safely or legally, we will explain why and suggest another method if possible.
A theft investigation might begin with a camera at a known entrance. If a relevant vehicle then leaves the site, a separately agreed surveillance team may be needed. A drone may first document a large area, followed by ground observations at the strongest location. We agree these decision points so the cost does not grow automatically.
Depending on the job, you may receive a timed surveillance report, incident list, relevant camera clips, photographs, drone images or a simple location map. The report explains what each method showed and what it could not prove.
Specialist surveillance is from £520 + VAT per operative for a standard deployment of up to 8 hours. Additional time after 8 hours is charged from £65 + VAT per hour, per operative, or at the hourly rate agreed in writing before deployment. Short-duration, tightly defined assignments are quoted individually. Covert-camera deployment starts from £1,250 + VAT per week. GPS tracking investigations start from £550 + VAT per week. Drone and aerial support starts from £500 + VAT, subject to the location and flight conditions.
No. Ownership does not remove privacy, employment, tenancy or data-protection responsibilities. The location and view must be checked.

We do not offer drones as a way to look into private domestic spaces. Flight safety, airspace and privacy rules apply.
