A business concern often starts with something that does not add up. Stock may be disappearing, an employee’s explanation may conflict with records, confidential information may have reached a competitor, or a supplier may not be what it claims to be. Acting without evidence can create legal and employment problems, but ignoring the concern may allow the loss to continue.
London Private Investigators helps businesses establish facts before making important decisions. We work with business owners, directors, solicitors, HR teams, insurers and public-sector organisations. The investigation can be kept small and focused at first, then expanded only if the findings justify it.
You are not committing to anything by contacting us.
Before hiring, investing, buying, partnering or signing an important contract, we can check the people and companies involved. This may include ownership, business history, company links, public court or insolvency information and significant concerns reported by reliable sources.
We investigate suspected fraud, internal theft, false expenses or invoices, undisclosed business connections, serious employee misconduct, information leaks and other concerns involving people inside or connected to the organisation.
Surveillance can record attendance, outside work, meetings, movement of goods or assets, and activity relevant to an insurance or civil claim. It is used for a specific question, not as general monitoring of staff.
We can investigate counterfeit goods, unauthorised sellers, copied products, diverted stock and connected online accounts. The aim is to give the brand and its legal advisers organised evidence for the next step.
We first speak with the person who has authority to instruct us. We ask what has happened, who currently knows, what records are available and what decision the business may need to make. If evidence could be deleted or a financial loss is continuing, we help identify the most urgent first step.
The initial job may be a review of companies and connections, a limited surveillance deployment, a stock-loss pattern review or the organisation of existing documents. Starting with a clear first stage helps control cost and prevents the business from committing to a large open-ended investigation.
Corporate cases can be damaged by too many people knowing too early. We agree who will receive updates, who can approve extra work and what should happen if important information is found. This helps protect the investigation and reduces unnecessary workplace rumours.
Employment, fraud and regulatory matters may require advice from your solicitor, HR team, insurer, accountant or data-protection adviser. LPI gathers and reports information. We do not decide whether an employee should be disciplined, whether a crime has been committed or whether legal proceedings should begin.
You receive a clear report explaining the work completed, the facts found, the supporting information and any points that remain uncertain. Reports can include timelines, photographs, company connections, witness information and recommendations for possible further investigation. The final decision remains with your organisation and its advisers.
LPI is ex-military-led, ICO registered and fully insured. We do not hack systems, intercept private communications, access bank accounts, enter property without permission or pretend to have police or regulatory powers. Specialist accountancy or digital examination is referred to suitably qualified professionals when needed.
You will not be judged, pressured or rushed. Speak with an investigator, explain your concern, and we will tell you honestly whether an investigation would help.
All enquiries are handled privately and respectfully. You can contact us even if you are only seeking advice.
