Corporate & Commercial Investigations

Corporate Surveillance & Claims Investigations

Sometimes company records do not answer the question. Our insurance fraud investigation in London and corporate surveillance help when a business needs to know whether an employee is working elsewhere during sickness absence, whether goods or vehicles are being misused, whether a person attends a particular meeting, or whether physical activity is relevant to an insurance or civil claim. Surveillance can record what happens during a carefully chosen period.

When surveillance may be useful

Checking attendance at a known workplace, address, meeting or event.

Recording possible outside work or business activity during a defined period.

Following the movement or use of company goods, vehicles or other assets.

Documenting visible activity that may be relevant to an insurance or civil claim.

Supporting a wider fraud, misconduct or legal investigation.

A clear question saves time and money

The best results come from strong information about dates, locations, vehicles, routines and the behaviour that matters. Surveillance should not be an open-ended exercise to see whether something interesting happens. We help choose the time most likely to answer the business question.

How the operation is planned

We check how the person is likely to travel, where they may enter or leave, whether public transport is involved and how easy it would be for one investigator to lose sight of them. A simple static job may need one person. A moving subject, several exits or busy public transport may require a team. We explain the reason and price before deployment.

We also agree who can receive updates and approve extra time. This matters if useful activity starts near the end of the booked period.

Employee surveillance must be used carefully

Secret monitoring of workers should only be considered in exceptional circumstances and for a serious, specific concern. It should not replace ordinary performance management. The employer should involve its legal, HR and data-protection advisers and record why the work is necessary before instructing LPI.

Insurance and claims investigations

For an insurance fraud investigation in London, surveillance may record walking, lifting, driving, working, exercising or everyday activity. It cannot decide whether someone is medically fit, dishonest or legally entitled to compensation. We provide the full and balanced observation record so insurers, medical experts and solicitors can consider it alongside the other evidence.

A short video clip can be misleading when taken out of context. Our report includes the timing and surrounding activity, including periods when nothing relevant happened.

Your surveillance report and footage

You receive a timed report explaining where the investigators were, what they saw and whether identification was confirmed. Relevant photographs or video are included where obtained. If the person was not seen or contact was lost, that is stated clearly.

Short jobs and full deployments

A narrow job such as photographing a known arrival, handover or fixed-time event may be quoted individually. Where the person’s movements or timing are uncertain, a standard deployment gives the investigation enough time to follow the activity properly.

Pricing

Corporate surveillance is from £520 + VAT per operative for a standard deployment of up to 8 hours. Additional time after 8 hours is charged from £65 + VAT per hour, per operative, or at the hourly rate agreed in writing before deployment. Short-duration, tightly defined assignments are quoted individually. Insurance and claims investigations start from £750 + VAT. Multi-day work, travel and larger teams are quoted in writing before the investigation begins.

Most Popular Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we monitor an employee because their performance is poor?

Not as a normal management tool. Covert surveillance needs a serious and specific reason, with advice from the organisation’s legal or HR team.

Why might we need more than one investigator?

Changes of transport, several exits, difficult roads and an alert subject can make one-person coverage unreliable and easier to notice.

Can video prove that a claimant is fit for work?

No. It records visible activity during a particular period. Medical and legal decisions belong to qualified professionals.

Will we receive updates during the job?

Where useful and safe, updates can be sent to the nominated client contact.

What if nothing happens?

We report the deployment honestly. One quiet period does not prove that an activity never takes place.
